Pink Friday

Happy Friday! Today isn’t just any Friday it’s Pink Friday! Pink had found a re emergence in the design world lately. From Rose gold, to soft pastels to the ever present millienial pink. It was even the Sherwin Williams color of the month for July. Pink is surprising easy to work with. It pairs nicely with both warm and cool neutrals and adds an easy breezy chic modern feel to any space.

I recently purchased this pink and blue area rug and gorgeous textured pink throw to pair with neutral furniture for a living room design project. The rug is a true piece of art! It’s the perfect contrast against the neutral furniture. Selectively chose your areas to accent to and focus and interest to your space.

One of my favorite finds was this geometric pillow. The rigid lines are juxtaposed with neutral beading and sequins which perfectly merge hard and soft elements. The triangle in the middle is EVERYTHING! The bright pop of fuscia makes a color statement against the otherwise neutral background. I love layering these pillows in different orientations to provide a sublet rhythm to the changing geometry.

And finally don’t forget about your organizational elements. I found these beautiful glass magnets which a millienial pink flare. They are  effortlessly fun and a subtle style enhancement to any palette. Until next time! -D
